Cibachrome refers to both the trademarked photographic paper Cibachrome and the process of making prints with such paper. Cibachrome is a positive printing process; the prints are produced from slides or transparencies, not color negatives. Azo dyes embedded in the papers emulsion are bleached away in proportion to the exposure during paper processing (called dye-bleach reversal).
