This is one of Lisa Issenberg's signature designs. A beautiful pendant that combines both her breathtaking photography of the Rocky Mountains and her unique silver design. This pendant features an image of Indian Paintbrush which is one of nature's own works of art. This brightly colored flower is a member of the snapdragon family and is found in the alpine areas of the Rocky Mountains. Each pendant is made from a handcrafted cast sterling silver box that has an original photo inset at its center. The photo is then covered with a clear resin that keeps the image safe from water and dirt. You can buy the pendant by itself or you can buy it with a matching 16 inch sterling silver chain that features a beautiful hand crafted clasp. Is this a gift? Lisa also offers personalized engraving on your piece for only $5. On this large pendant she can usually include 5 or 6 words on the back. Write a love note to your girlfriend if it is a gift or a line from your favorite poem if it is for yourself. Background:
Issenberg Design specializes in custom metalwork for public and private spaces. Since 1991, artist/designer Lisa Issenberg has used her skillful design techniques to create unique three-dimensional objects, combining a variety of media and capitalizing on the versatility and durability of metal. The scale of Issenberg's functional designs ranges from detailed jewelry to industrial-size pieces, all of which originate in her studio. Issenberg often incorporates provocative photographs in her work. She treats these images as jewels in small pieces, while in furniture and installations the photographs allow the viewer to step into another dimension of functionality through black-and-white mountain panoramas or color close-ups of wild flowers. Issenberg Design's clients include private individuals, businesses and public entities, including the Town of Telluride. The Whitney Museum Store (NYC) has represented her jewelry, as well as galleries in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Currently, her jewelry is featured in the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art in Colorado and the International Center of Photography in New York City. Lisa Issenberg earned a Master of Industrial Design degree from Pratt Institute in 2001. She has taught metal arts workshops in Telluride, Colorado, since 1995.
