| Order Last Minute Gifts for Delivery Today |
| Arttowngifts.com adds Last Minute Gifts with Same Day Delivery Service |
|
Sandpoint, Idaho, June 9, 2008/ Arttowngifts.com
a leading online retailer of unique gifts,
original art and home décor recently
announced the addition of a last minute gift
line including gourmet wine and fruit baskets
and balloons. Same day delivery is available
in most areas as long as a gift is ordered
before noon in the recipient’s time zone.
The retailer, which features gifts created
by North American artists, tested the concept
in several regions during the last year to
prepare for a nationwide roll out here in the
Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and
Canada. The same day delivery last minute gift
line is available at http://www.arttowngifts.com/Last-Minute-Gifts-s/4621.htm.
The company’s complete last minute gift
line features two delivery options including
a group of gifts delivered by hand through
a network of affiliates, florists and gift
stores. This product lineup includes wine gifts,
gourmet gift baskets and balloons for all occasions.
The company plans to add fresh flowers later
this year. The big advantage this cooperative
network offers is same day delivery as long
as customers place their order before noon
in the recipient’s zone. So customers
on the east coast can literally place an order
at 2:30 in the afternoon for delivery that
same day in California. Prices for the same
day delivery group including delivery start
at only $40. “With the high price of
gas these days, our customers requested alternatives
to avoid having to go shopping and then still
needing to wrap and pay shipping to get a gift
to its final destination”, says Arttowngifts.com
Marketing Director, Teddy Bryant. “The
response to this new same day delivery gift
assortment has been incredibly positive”,
she added.
A second gift line includes themed gift baskets
of all types including birthday gifts, new
baby gifts, thank you gifts, get well gifts,
house warming gifts, sympathy gifts, graduation
gifts, spa and pamper me gifts, holidays gifts
and much more. These gourmet food gift baskets
and theme gift groupings ship the same day
from the company’s four fulfillment centers
located strategically throughout the US. This
means that customers can order a unique gift
basket this morning and with expedited shipping
your recipient will thank you tomorrow. The
company even offers a cheesecake and specialty
dessert line created by a local bakery. Using
special cold packs and packaging the desserts
are shipped overnight to recipients throughout
the US. If a customer desires a more personal
gift, Arttowngifts offers a personalized gift
line including personalized glassware and mugs,
personalized wine gifts, personalized jewelry,
personalized tools and gadgets, personalized
flasks and more. Items in this selection ship
the next business day after an order is received
and expedited shipping is also available. Ground
shipping which features delivery in 3 to 5
business days provides a significant savings
for those who need to watch their budgets.

Local artists and fine crafters invited to showcase their work at new art and gift site, Arttowngifts.com |
|
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 9, 2008
Local artists and fine crafters are asked to
submit their artwork for acceptance to Arttowngifts.com.
The new site combines both shopping and tourism
into one online destination by selling the
works of art and fine crafts created by artists
from featured art towns across the United States
and Canada. The site offers a broad collection
of unique gifts, regional art, and other items
originating from the featured communities in
a website format that replicates a visit to
a small art town.
A travel guide for the featured towns highlights
each community’s recreation, tourist
attractions, activities and art scene. Artists’ Studios
include a narrative about each artist and specifics
regarding their art work. A convenient menu
system makes it convenient for viewers to find
the information or works of art they desire.
Joseph Few and his founding team members have
been planning and constructing the site for
almost two years. He says, “We
are attracting new talents every day and want
to provide truly unique offerings not found
in other places.” There is no charge
for artists to apply. All types of artists,
crafters, artisans and trades people are invited. “If
it is made in the town or surrounding area,
then we are interested since we will also sell
other products originating in the towns such
as regional food and spa products. We will
be featuring these gift packs on our site to
make it easy for shoppers to order something
they found in a town and would love to buy
again or for those who would love to try something
new,” he explained.
Residents, tourists and others can recommend
artists and also post photos of the town and
surrounding areas and relate their experiences
about towns on the site. They can also recommend
towns for inclusion. Those interested should
visit the website at www.arttowngifts.com or
call 877 278-8696.
President and founder Joseph Few explains
the concept, “these unique one of kind
products can only be found on rare occasions
during vacations or weekend shopping trips. Arttowngifts.com presents
these coveted hand crafted works of art to
the worldwide marketplace.” The concept
for the website was born out of his love of
the small resort towns he lived in during his
college years. “I wanted to create a
business that would make it easier for talented
artists and others who live in the towns to
make a living,” Few states.
Over the last two years he traveled across
the US to select towns and learn the best way
to serve both artisans and shoppers. With the
knowledge gained, he designed Arttowngifts.com to
bring the two groups together. “With
a selection of works of art by local artists,
our site will make it easy for customers to
find these much-desired, hard-to-find items
when they can not get to the town. At
the same time, we will provide a broader audience
for the local artists who often find it difficult
to sell their products.” Towns were selected
for inclusion from actual visits to the towns
and a variety of articles and books written
on the subject of the best towns in North American.
Arttowngifts.com is
owned by Specialty Village, Inc. which is based in
Sandpoint, ID. The company plans to start a community
of sites and venues to promote the featured towns.

Sandpoint, Idaho based Specialty
Village, Inc. selected to compete at Idaho
TechLaunch 2.0 at Sun Valley Resort June 30,
2005
SANDPOINT, Idaho – June
24, 2005 – Specialty
Village, Inc™, start-up specialty e-commerce
retailer, is one of a select group of startup
technology companies chosen to present at the
Idaho TechLaunch 2.0, a premier technology
and new venture competition. Representatives
of Idaho Economic Development Association hand-selected
the presenting companies from entries across
the state. As start-up or early stage ventures,
the participating companies seek investors
to fund their initial or on-going operations.
“We are honored to be selected to participate in the Idaho TechLaunch 2.0,” said Joseph Few, founder and CEO of Specialty Village. “This forum provides us with a valuable opportunity for high level exposure to prospective investors.”
Specialty Village will embrace new technology and innovative marketing solutions to promote remote tourist towns and bring their products and services to customers worldwide. The company’s first site, Arttowngifts.com will showcase the work of talented, emerging artists. Specialty Village is currently recruiting investors, strategic alliances and sponsors to participate in the new venture.
This event boasts a business competition among eight innovative businesses throughout Idaho. These companies will compete for cash prizes to help launch their company. TechLaunch 2.0 combines public and private efforts to support and encourage continued growth in science and technology within Idaho, which is one of the fastest growing segments of the state’s economy. Developed by the Idaho TechConnect offices, the event is sponsored by the Idaho Economic Development Association, the Idaho National Laboratory and Idaho’s Office of Science & Technology, along with a number of corporate sponsors. Conference registration is $95 per person. Idaho TechLaunch 2.0 will take place on June 28 and 29, 2005 at the Sun Valley Resort. It is open to the public and prospective investors. Online registration and more information for the event is available at www.ieda.biz/techinfo.cfm.
