Find It Now... Navigating the Site

Quick Overview

To find the product(s) you're looking for, you may

Use the navigation menus at the top, of each page of our web site.
Enter a keyword into the SEARCH box at the top of left of each page.
Enter the product number into the SEARCH box at the top left of each page.

Using our Menus

Our Menus are located on the top and bottom of all pages and on the left side of some inside Gateway pages. Menus are hierarchical in nature and function much like a traditional outline with Main Classifications we call "Gateways" and sub classifications, we refer to as "Departments."

Drop Down Menus work Automatically

Drop down menus furnish a way for you to see the sub classifications or departments without actually jumping to an inside page first. You can see almost all of our Arttowngifts.com departments from our top menus by using the drop-down menu feature.

Here is how it works:

First, roll your mouse over the top level of a menu that you can see.
Wait a second, now an additional sub-menu will automatically drop down revealing a list of departments located on the pages within the main gateway.
Once you see the department you would like to visit, simply click on the button to open the department page.
The menus at the top and bottom of the site are listed on every page, so you can always jump to the section you desire without back tracking.

Inside Menus

On the far left side of this page is another convenient menu, referred to as an "inside menu", that you will find on many of the main gateway pages inside of Arttowngifts.com. Simply click on the link of interest and the system will take you to that page.

Please keep in mind that once you actually click on a menu, the system will start moving to that page. Sometimes you might find that you clicked on a menu to get it do drop down. Try to remember to scroll over them instead.

Using Bread Crumbs

There are also what is referred to as bread crumbs at the top left of each inside page. Bread crumbs are convenient listings of the path between the "Home Page" and your current location. These links make it easy to return to a previous page.

The image above demonstrates bread crumbs on an inside page. In this case, the shopper started at out home page and maneuvered to the Decor Main Gateway. From their they chose "Home Accessories" and then finally the sub-sub department of Baskets and Containers. The example above is only an image and not a working menu.

USING RECENTLY VIEWED ITEMS history

You even have the ability to turn the history of your web site visit on and off at the bottom of our product pages. When you enable this feature, you will see a list of every product page you visited as you progress. This list might come in handy when you are searching for a special item such as decorator accent for your home where you might want to look at several works of art and then compare them before you make your final decision.

NAVIGATION QUICK TIPS

Place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You'll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a "hand". Whereas scrolling over anything that is NOT a link will leave your cursor as an "arrow". In addition as you pause for just a second over a link, text will appear giving you a preview of the site contents to which the link applies.

Logo is usually a HOME Page Link

On most sites including Arttowngifts.com, if you click the company logo usually located at the extreme top left of the web page, it will return you the web site's home page. In most cases, where ever you see a logo, you can click it to jump to the company's home page of their site.
