This solid copper bird bath is an attractive addition to any garden or yard. The colored designs in the copper are a result of a propane gas heat treatment, the results cannot be duplicated. The copper is not sealed, a sealent would gradually dissolve in the water and harm the birds and surrounding envioronment. The copper will darken with age. Each bird bath comes with a butterfly stone decoration at no extra cost.The stand screws into the dish for easy storage and transport. Each bird bath comes with a piece of rebar to hold the bird bath firmly in the ground.

Do not expose to below freezing temeratures, clean with a sponge or soft cloth if desired.

Background:
Barbara Scott and Susan Boyle founded Harvest Impressions in 1987 to design, create, and market hand-painted women's casual apparel. The business has evolved to be known generally as simply IMPRESSIONS & CO. Barbara, with both formal art and textile training also holds credentials as a clinical social worker, but in 1987, after the birth of her child, turned her attention to the design of wearable art. Susan, a recently retired school psychologist, and self-taught painter, metal and woodworker, contributes extraordinary organizational talent, and production skill to the company. All design, production, and marketing is accomplished by the two primary partners and their daughter with the aid of several assistants who work both in and out of the 4,200 sq. ft. studio. Assistants work in both production and administrative capacities. The wearable merchandise has been successfully marketed directly to the retail market since 1987 at art and craft shows throughout the mid-west and north-east United States, and from 1991-1998, a company-owned boutique. Our combined retail experience is extensive and will serve to aid both wholesale, and retail buyer's needs. Impressions and Co represents our new line of hand-tooled interior accessories. It is a direct offspring of the work that has been successfully marketed to the art patron who appreciates original design and fine craftsmanship. Combining a deep appreciation of our natural surroundings and an unending drive to create new art reflective of life's many layers, we look to bring a sense of contemplative peace and reverence into the home, office, and common spaces. Each one-of-a-kind work integrates warm color, reassuring images, and layer upon layer of paint, wood, metal, fiber and leather combined to create everyday objects that are not only useful, but rich in beauty.

The work we do is a tangible expression of our belief in living comfortably with nature and all its gifts. Technique:
We use a variety of techniques to acquire the finishes on our metal pieces. Our techniques include heat-treating with propane, MAPP, and oxygen gases, concentrated salt etching, and darkening. All of our designs are original and one-of-a-kind. The durability of the products we design and produce is assured. We guarantee one full year against defects and offer the expectation that the patron will enjoy many more years of beautiful use. Only the finest materials and great care are used to create our original product line.
