A stunning handmade 1.5 inch dog collar adorned with between 800 - 1000 hand placed genuine Swarovski crystals fixed in a wave pattern atop a black satin base.This collar foundation is a satin encased nylon base with a nickle finished double bar buckle and d-ring. This exquisite collar is custom made upon receipt of order. Please allow 2-3 weeks.

Background:
I am a self-taught dog collar designer with a wild and colorful imagination. It would seem that my entire life is influenced by colors; even in the wintertime when everything is gray I think that a few crystals and some funky sequins will make any snow cloud welcome! As for designing dog collars...I absolutely adore doggies (the larger the better). I am the proud parent of a mean and vicious Chow Chow named Chester (his entire name is Admiral Chester Nimitz) although he is convinced that he is mean and vicious our cat Samantha would beg to differ. I love to be inspired by Chester's funny faces, his actions when he plays, and just his all around sweet nature. I enjoy making one of a kind collars and coming up with funky but functional designs. I love what I do...just ask Chester!

Artist Statement:
"Hi! My name is Linda Gordon and I am the owner and designer that is The Twisted Cow. You are probably wondering how I came up with that name. Well, I have this weird obsession with cows (and how are cows connected to dogs?); if they came in a miniature size I would own a house full!!!! Anyway back to the crazy story, my husband is a New England vanilla colored dude and I am a gorgeous shade of southern milk chocolate. So if you put them together (like a twist ice cream cone) you get the Twisted Cow. A bit crazy, but it gets your attention. How did I arrive at this juncture in my life…shopping for the right collar for the right occasion can be down right expensive, so I decided to create my own collars when I got tired of paying gi-normous prices (is gi-normous really a word?!). So, I started networking to enable my company to design and create high end products at an affordable price. I hope that The Twisted Cow has provided the perfect collar for your four-legged babe; if not I hope you were inspired to create your own fab-u-losity for your beloved companion. Technique:
The Twisted Cow starts each collar with fabric that is wrapped around a polypropylene base. For the smaller collars and harnesses I use lightweight webbing and for the larger collars and harnesses I use heavy duty webbing. The stitching is heavily reinforced in the stress points for maximum safety and security. The standard hardware is a black acetyl slider and black acetyl side release buckle with a brass or nickel plated (cast or welded) D-ring.
