| Artist Bio: |
| Barbara began her art training at Mission Renaissance in Hollywood, CA where she studied drawing and painting. She later moved to St. Louis, MO where she continued her studies at Meramec Community College and Craft Alliance. She has taken classes in metal working, torchworking (glass), lost-wax casting and pate de verre. She labels herself as primarily self-taught. She has been creating art since she escaped from the corporate world to pursue her creative talents. She started with two dimensional work but found it limiting. After experimenting with various media she found her favorite place in the art word. She now creates in glass and sterling siliver with occasional inclusions of brass, gold, copper and gemstones. |
